I’m a public relations major but I’m really unsure of what I could do with a bachelors in this field. I love fashion but I also wouldn’t mind working in the medical field. Any careers in public relations where I could work in either field would be awesome!

Employers usually seek individuals with a career-related degree in advertising or marketing. Having a Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields can give you an edge over the competition. Because advertising and marketing careers are so attractive, employers usually seek those who are the most qualified. Having a Bachelor’s or even a Master’s degree in advertising or marketing can help for employment and job advancement.
Growth Statistics

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, careers in advertising and marketing are expected to increase by 27% through 2014. College graduates with related experience, a high level of creativity, and strong communication skills should have the best job opportunities

Peter Ustinov memorably said, war is the rich man’s terrorism and terrorism is the poor man’s war. Would the minutemen have been locked up in concentration camps like the Taliban?

In war you know who the enemy is.. and can sometimes see them coming.

How can our republic continue to function in a democratic way if people don’t vote? Should we do something about the low voting turnout?

I would like to know when and why were military haircuts incorporated in the US military? Or where is it officially stated the when and why of military haircuts?

I have a general idea of when it was incorporated and why it is used in the military but I would like to see an official document that would state this. I have looked at many websites and military dress code manuals but could not find it. Maybe some of you military historians can answer this.

The whole world is very different today than it was in the early years of the republic, so our foreign policy is different by necessity.

The U.S. had much more isolationist tendencies in the early years. This was largely because it had not yet established itself as a military power. We were afraid of wars with the big European nations that had massive navies, since we weren’t eager to repeat the Revolution.

It’s hard to say, actually whether the U.S. really even HAD a "foreign policy" after the revolution. In those days, unless you were a big powerful colonial power, you basically minded your own business.
