How come where the ancient Egyptians so much faster developed than any other parts of the world?

Was it because they had more natural resources? Or is there another special reason why the ancient Egyptians where so much more smart and developed than the rest of the world? (for example: why were the "American" natives lesser developed than Ancient Egyptians?) Thanks.

There were great civilizations in both North and South America before the Egyptians civilization.

There were permanent settlements in the areas now called Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida before the great pyramids were built in Egypt and before the Mayan culture arose in Central America.
