How did ancient tribes survive if they always sacrificed their virgins?
In ancient times, groups like the Aztecs and the Mayans sacrificed virgins in order to ward of the wrath their various Gods, right?
Well, my question is this. Since the virgins were always sacrificed, how is it that these people were able to reproduce without any virgins?
magic no lol, they need virgins, what they probebly did was sacrafice sme virgins, not all

They didn’t sacrifice all the virgins at the same time. They sacrificed a handful leaving a large number of virgins to reproduce.

The mistake you made was assuming they did kill all their virgins. They only selected one each time that they had an important sacrifice to accomplish. So approximately one a year, maximal two. Not enough to wipe out the population.

they only sacrificed a few of the virgins … they probably had plenty of skanks and ho’s.

They kept the "good ones" and sacrificed the "Bad ones" meaning they kept the ones who could populate more, and they sacrificed the ones that couldn’t, which were only a small amount.

Only the lucky ones were sacrificed and most were children.

I’ve read that the Incas would at times would offer a youth for sacrifice. No one always sacrificed their virgins.

I am only speaking off the cuff but no tribe would sacrifice their virgins. The females ensured the survival of the tribe. There was more propaganda back then then there is today.

They can spare an occasional one, now and then. I bet it kept women honest about whether they are one.

I guess that gave the girls added incentive to loose their virginity.

Hey after they sacrifice a few virgins all the rest of the females are pretty eager to lose their virginity fast.
Actually sacrificing a virgin in most cultures is symbolically giving to the Gods what that culture sees as its most pure and innocent. Many more societies sacrificed young children of both sexes than one who sacrificed adult female virgins.
The Aztecs and Mayans usually sacrificed prisoners of war and conquest in large numbers. Otherwise human sacrifice was done in very small numbers and only for the most important occasions, these few deaths had no real effect on the population.
