Capitalism (1948)
Another winner from Coronet Instructional Films! In this one, a group of teenagers on a high-school radio program discuss just what capitalism is, seizing onto the example of the butcher who supplies the weenies for their picnic. A bona fide capitalism love-in! Weenie references fly fast and furious here.
Capitalism is one of many “free-enterprise education” films released in the first few years of the Cold War. Unlike many films produced under corporate sponsorship, it avoids taking jabs at socialism, Russia or New Deal government programs. Nonetheless, it uses the common Coronet device of showing a group collectively engaged in coming to terms with an idea — a process with predetermined conclusions. In this respect, I imagine that it’s not so different from Soviet educational films.

CAPITALISM is …
CAPITALISM is legalised greed!!! and your DEMOCRACY is the 2faced system that harbours it!!!
ISLAM, with its superior understanding on all humanities needs, including our financial needs, provides a system devoid of the ills such as usury and interest in trade, and is the system that we all yearn for. Islam is coming to save you, once again, from yourselves…

If you take ideas …
If you take ideas to be primary – suppose you defined an idea by its unfoliding in reality? – This is an epistemology not favored in political-theory classes .. ;-0

“is a family of …
“is a family of economic and political ideas and social movements related to the establishment of an egalitarian, classless and stateless society based on common ownership and control of the means of production and property in general” -Wikipedia
theres been no true communism ever in the world. if theres a government controlling society, it is no longer communism as the society is not a “egaliterian, stateless” society. USSR/Soviet Union, Cuba, China were never true communist.

Yea, Where’s the …
Yea, Where’s the competition?? And when the corporation is allowed to own every other company in the supply chain, no one else is making a profit, just the fat cats that work as CEO’s and owners of preferred stock. They skim the fat off the top until there’s nothing left of value. Then they ask for bail outs. Greedy bastards! I’ve taken Business, Marketing, and Financial Accounting and was shocked by the methods of manipulation people in business use and somehow justify. It’s not justifiable.

Capitalism is not …
Capitalism is not the American system of economy. Capitalism is a system of usury that turns workers into slaves and puts society under economic slavery. It is every bit as wrong as communism. Both systems lead to slavery. In a real Republic, capitalism or communism cannot exist. The last time America was acting like a real Republic was under FDR leadership. Under FDR, our government worked and ran for the People. Not F*ck*n Wall Street. YouTube: LaRouche American Sysytem of economics

Also, REAL communism has never been put into place, so if you were thinking of arguing back with examples from the USSR or Cuba, you’re wrong, those places never had real communism.

First of all, in …
First of all, in capitalism, many don’t have that in the first place.
Second of all, in communism they don’t “take away your lawn, food, car,” and that stuff, they aren’t opposed to ‘personal property’ which is earned-property, they just get rid of ‘private property’ such as buisnesses.

I seriously can’t tell if you’re being serious or trying to point out the exact same thing I am.
The idea that relying on other people is being a “pussy” is rather stupid…
Other people created your phone, your food, your computer, your home. They taught you how to read, drive, cook, etc.
It’s impossible to survive “on your own” in a society. While I agree that everyone should have the knowledge and tools to live independently, i disagree that social relationships are somehow bad
