“businessmen pay … “businessmen pay for the factories, office towers, shopping malls, apartments, houses, etc.”
No, the businessmen’s customers pay for them. All business costs are embedded in their prices.
“and bear all of the risk for them”
Oh really, and what about this “Too Big To Fail” idea. The public just got burned (again) bailing out the banks, insurance companies and car manufacturers. Seems to me like they take all the profits, we take all the risks.
@profitSlave … @profitSlave workers are paid, and allowed to excel in life and able to further themselves in the market. businessmen pay for the factories, office towers, shopping malls, apartments, houses, etc and bear all of the risk for them. just food for thought.
“pure commie crap … “pure commie crap garbbage” …here comes the usual hollow empty name calling. Intelligent discussions are replaced by on the floor.
If you want to … If you want to understand wealth, ask the people who invented the concept, word and how to do it what they meant by it. Until then, you are nothing.
Business creates … Business creates jobs, workers create wealth, business then expropriates most of the wealth created to build global empires. Workers build all of the factories, office towers, shopping malls, apartments, houses, etc. plus all of the other capital assets like machinery and equipment, infrastructure, etc… yet they OWN NONE OF IT. Workers pay all of society’s costs but receive only a tiny fraction of the value they create in wages. The only thing free about free markets is the freedom to steal.
There are no … There are no victims of capitalism. There are those who have benefited and those who haven’t. That’s all. You can’t loose what you never had.
Would I ever expect … Would I ever expect anyone to be my friend if I am not willing to be a loyal friend back? Not my fault if you live in a world where you suspect everyone of giving little kids the wrong change.
Slave, if you don’t … Slave, if you don’t know the difference between wealthy capitalists and speculating opportunists, you have absolutely no right to even discuss the subject, let alone hold judgment and lay curses. It’s because of this behavior that capitalists retrench and take their factories elsewhere.
profitSlave – first … profitSlave – first, from your name I detect a bias about the whole subject already. Before being slaves, they were indentured servants of capitalists. They only became slaves when carpetbaggers from the north moved in. Those were not capitalists, but rather opportunists. Like I’ve told louie a thousand times, it really pays to know the differences in words, ideas and concepts before ranting off and sounding ignorant and foolish.
No nina, I am here … No nina, I am here today despite Capitalism. You’re right my opinions don’t matter, but the opinions of the 4 or 5 billion victims of Capitalism do, especially since Capitalism is on the verge of its own self-destruction. Before the abolition of slavery, the free market gave slaves a fabulous freedom of choice. They could choose to submit to their masters or try to escape and most likely die. Its hard to improve a great system like that, but the monopolists pulled it off by manipulating money.
profitSlave, you … profitSlave, you are here today because of capitalism. If you want to attach any label to it, go ahead; it doesn’t change a thing, and it shouldn’t. Why should anything be changed according to your opinion if obvious that you don’t understand free markets, capitalism, oil, gas station prices? PS – don’t take it personally, same applies to countless others, including louie.
nina I want tariffs … nina I want tariffs at our borders, to keep the multinationals who use third world labor our of our markets. If they make it in China sell it in China.
oh nina, you have … oh nina, you have been so brainwashed by the self-infatuated corporate welfare slobs that feed off the lives of others. Obviously you don’t believe that people who work earn the right to enjoy the fruits of their labor. And in case you haven’t noticed, free markets disappeared about 60 years ago, around the time monopoly capitalism took over the ownership of most of the world’s natural resources. Try telling your gas station owner that you don’t like his prices and that you’ll buy gas elsewhere.
Guess what, louie, … Guess what, louie, they were unemployed to start with. Free trade is what provides anyone with the opportunity to buy what they want from where they want. What do you want, fair trade? It doesn’t exist.
Of course Americans … Of course Americans have the right TO DEMAND that their government get the out of the way of business that creates jobs. As for a living wage, there is already one – it’s called minimum salary. Above that it depends on qualifications and labor availability. What are you complaining about? As for supporting family, kids is ok. The rest of them can go find their own jobs.
I don’t agree with … I don’t agree with you I believe most folks prefure ot be self reliant. Free Trade is a theory it doesn’t bring you anything. It has only produced millions of unemployed dependent scared americans.
Well there is a few … Well there is a few million who will be jobless and dependent also. I am just not one of them, nor is my family. Luck has nothing to do with it.

are resources not …
are resources not zero sum?
if there is competition is there not one winner and the rest losers?
If you arent winning within capitalism the result is death via starvation of needs
via social contract, people assume they will benefit from living within society and its ecoconomic system
not benefiting being is being a victim
you weren’t born dead, enslaved or tortured by your standard of living
