@HolyCows154 you …
@HolyCows154 you are twisting the definition of force you should stop being so cheap doing these mental contortions.. if someone wants to survive(VOLUNTARY IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE) they can make their own business(VOLUNTARY) or work for an employer(VOLUNTARY). if you work for an employer you can put more effort(VOLUNTARY) and give people incentives to put you in a higher position in that company
@sillynanny44 i …
@sillynanny44 i support free market capitalism, which does have a limited govt to protect capital in the private sector… in this system people cant force others to do things.
@sillynanny44 But …
@sillynanny44 But the 1% does force the 99%, it does it by owning the majority of capital and forcing them, for their survival, to work for them to produce more capital. It does not matter if the 99% can choose this or that individual within the 1% to serve as a master. It is all the same to the people that have to serve the elite to survive.
@HolyCows154 ”not …
@HolyCows154 ”not for domination by majority of 51% but happy w/ domination by 1%” you should show some dignity instead of being so cheap… im against 51% FORCING the 49% and im against 1% FORCING the 99%, in capitalism it is not force it is individuals making decisions for themself… that is the worst strawman ive ever seen, is that what you’re reduced to?
@HolyCows154 there …
@HolyCows154 there is a thing called copyright lol…. there is nothing wrong w/ innovative individuals becoming corporation and creating more jobs. all individuals can do it. so… ppl can find employers that pay them the most for their effort and they can start a business themselves..
@sillynanny44 I …
@sillynanny44 I want all those things too, I don’t want pure democracy, I believe in natural rights just like that. I just think we also have the right to not be turned into serfs by corporate elites.
@sillynanny44 Your …
@sillynanny44 Your not for domination by a majority of 51% but your happy to be dominated by an economic elite of less than 1%. This is silly.
@HolyCows154 of …
@HolyCows154 of course im against democracy… 51% of the population should not just kill off the 49% w/o their permission. im for rule of law constitutional republic w/ democratic elections for representatives to run a govt that protects all individual’s rights from aggression. a right = something inherent and natural and doesnt go in conflict w/ another persons right.
@sillynanny44 That …
@sillynanny44 That is a faith statement, not a fact. If there approach was innovative it would be replicated and done more cheaply by a bigger corporation, or if not it would become a corporation itself and behave exactly the same as all the others. The system is wrong. I think our little debate has run its course now.
@HolyCows154 …
@HolyCows154 weeks-over a month to start a business here w/ our govt controling conducts while it takes 2-3 days to start a businesse in china after their reforms… if new business owners are innovative, provide special products and better services than the big corporations then they’d succeed…
@sillynanny44 That …
@sillynanny44 That sounds like an argument against democracy itself. It’s obviously better if the economy is run by and owned by workers collectively. It means it would be run by them in their own interests and not in the interests of a narrow elite who exploit their talent and labor for personal gain. That really is all there is to it. I am not swapping corporate domination for government domination, I want neither, I want freedom and democracy expanded to the whole of society, including work.
@HolyCows154 …
@HolyCows154 voluntary association is allowed in a libertarian society… voting in business should be allowed if all individual workers sign a contract that accepts the idea of only 51% rule lol… because the majority of workers should not make business decisions that is not the interest of minorty unless the minority stupidly sign some contract.
@sillynanny44 You …
@sillynanny44 You have a faith in the system which it just doesn’t deserve. When people in the bottom 90% have wage growth of 0.2% and the top 1% have income growth of 10%, it does not matter how hard the bottom 90% work, wealth will compress upwards continuously. It won’t be easy to start your own competitor business because without government regulation big corporations will squash you, like microsoft did with all the alternatives in the 90s.
@HolyCows154 ” …
@HolyCows154 ”people that work a third of their lives in businesses should be the ones that own and run them” uh true capitalist society you’d have way more people getting in higher position if they work hard(which i support). and in fact in a capitalist society it’d be much easier to start a business yourself
@HolyCows154 I …
@HolyCows154 I would add that you should research worker self-management, it is totally the reverse of what you think it is. It is not ‘forced collectivization’ but mutual collaboration and coopoeration for common goals. It is completely different. It is totally democratic, workers vote on all important decisions. They set goals together and work to attain them. It’s not collective farms under Mao Tse-tung.
@sillynanny44 btw …
@sillynanny44 btw tax is obviously just one example, govt fight wars, patriot act, violating private property rights, in some countries you see govt control what individuals say even when they’re in privately owned property
@sillynanny44 I …
@sillynanny44 I think this is perhaps where there is a misunderstanding between us. I am not advocating the wholesale takover of the economy by the government. In fact this might shock you, but federal government might be smaller if I were managing it. BUT the disinction between us is that I think that the people that work a third of lives in businesses should be the ones that own and run them. Not rich parasites that bleed them their whole lives and throw them away.
@HolyCows154 uh …
@HolyCows154 uh they manage them because they worked for the higher position… ”working cooperatively” ya you do want to destroy individualism if you’re talking about forced collectization… totally desotrys independent identities when you make rewards the same for different people who put different amount of efforts
@HolyCows154 uh …
@HolyCows154 uh governemnt uses force to get you to pay tax… GUNS… corporations simply dont do what govt does… people w/ good abilities are not rare they’re just obviously in the minority. the more money a business owner have the more talented workers he/she can get. unions are allowed as long as they dont use the govt for special benefits. govt’s job is to enforce contracts that parties agree on, not to managebusinesses
@sillynanny44 I …
@sillynanny44 I can’t express just how little I want to destory individualism. Corporations do destory the spirit and independent identities of human beings. They teach them slogans, they put them in cubicles doing repetative tasks, they make them wear uniforms, they ‘manage’ them instead of working cooperatively to solve problems. The corporation gives the false impression of liberty but it is really a tyranical structure run from the top down.
@sillynanny44 w/o …
@sillynanny44 w/o govt management*
@sillynanny44 They …
@sillynanny44 They are not unique because the majority of jobs are not unique and require the same sorts of skills. Talent is always rare, because thats the dfinition of talent. IThat is always true no matter what system exists. I’m a little frustrated because you seem to be really on the money when you talk about corporations relationship to government, but then you don’t apply that understanding to the relationship to labor, which is just as exploitative.
@sillynanny44 …
@sillynanny44 naturally though the individuals are unique, individuals have different interest, abilities etc these are the incentives for employers to hire them… if one employee pay those people low wage, then the hard working individual would definitely look for another employer who knows it is his/her interest to hire good workers.
@HolyCows154 not …
@HolyCows154 not unique because people like you destroy individualism and you want equal losers. when corporations lobby govt for special benefits like subsidies/bailouts/special privileges/eliminate their competition of course they’ll grab all the money w/o earning it. again you’re argument starts in the middle. ”unemployment leads to.” while ignoring the cause of it. ”lack of wage increases” ignoring the cause of that. read my comments instead of repeating nonsense.
@HolyCows154 so …
@HolyCows154 so they went from starving in the millions to 2 dollars a day because they put SOME effort to freedom… you saying wealth magically expand? free market libertarians do believe in free trade w/ govt mangement..
