So far i can only find the UN security council that’s against terrorism in iraq, but I need 2 more organizations that are against it.

The Iraqi government
Red Cross / Crescent

Other than the Combating Terrorist Center at West Point, what other global organizatons are fighting terrorism? Even better, are there any organizations fighting al-Qaeda?
I did search in google and failed to find any organizations that were fighting. I know the countries that are against terrorism, but I have found nothing about any specific organizations that are specifically helping to fight against terrorism.
Does anybody have any real answers?

Two most important are:

US Army/Marines/Navy/Air force in Afghanistant & Iraq ( and a ton of other places )
IDF in Gaza ( and other places )

Need answers for these questions too: What is its inspiration? How does it terrorize and whom does it terrorize? What parts of the world does it bomb? What weapons does it use? How often does it shoot people or bomb places? Was it ever involved in any real genocide in India? Why does it want to terrorize or destruct or partition India? Is it or Islamic terrorism more destructive/ greater threat? Was it (Hindus) ever threatened in any way by anyone?

Its not HINDU terrorism. But Political terrorism and reprisals.

There was no word called HINDU existed some few hundred

years before. Only the Muslim merchants who came to the

region for trade called the area as HINDUSTAN, because

We have been watching Islamic terrorism for a long time now.It is high time we did some thing ! Our secular(EUNUCH) politicians have only rhetoric answers as their arsenal! Should we need army rule in India to mainyain law and order?

We need to fight back and destroy this islamofascism.

I got a project form school and we have to write about terrorism in a country and i got belarus. I cant seem to find much info on terrorism there.

Belarus has a history of close cooperation with rogue terrorists states. They did a lot to protect Saddam’s key leaders and relatives during our invasion of Iraq. Belarus got a lot of the fallout from the Chernobyl disaster. They have sold weapons to most of the USA’s list of state sponsored terrorist. It seems a big tie is Syria, where they funning things in and out of Syria. They have a record of providing asylum to international criminals and thugs.

1/23/2010 -> Draft law on Stocktaking of Belarusian armament supply is going to be submitted for approval to both Houses of the US Congress. American Congressmen and Senators are worried about the increasing scope of armament supplies from Belarus and the strengthening of relations of the official Minsk with countries supporting terrorism.

The draft law refers to the facts on armament supply from Belarus, to the mediatory services of Belarus in supplying modern Russian armament to the countries supporting terrorism.

“Belarus is a big supplier of missiles, mortars, anti-tank armament and mines to Palestinian extremist groupings and the states supporting terrorism, such as Iran and Syria, including helicopters Mi-24, artillery systems and armor of Russian production to the Government of Sudan, tanks to the communist regime of North Korea, military aircrafts and aviation engines to Iran” – as quoted in the document on the European Belarus site.

“It might be presumed that Belarusian authorities are endeavoring to expand relations with the states causing disturbances”, says the document.

They had a bombing there in 2008… Terrorists don’t attack them usually.

When will common sense prevail and we call evil by its rightful name?

I completely agree – I think I’m going to start a ‘religion’ that hates all black people (kind of like the KKK) and call it something loving, like – "The guild of Black seekers religion"… that way, whenever I kill a black person, it’s OK, my allah told me to do it!

I want to know the reason of growing terrorism and extremism in the world.

It’s not poverty — the 9/11 hijackers were middle class, and the guy that recently attacked the CIA outpost in Afghanistan was a doctor.

Ideology has a lot to do with it, but it’s important to realize what gave those violent ideologies their power: totalitarian dictatorships in the Middle East.

Years ago, these totalitarian regimes (especially Saudi Arabia) tried to quell dissent and distract attention from their behavior, by funding religion en masse. (As Karl Marx once famously remarked, "religion is the opiate of the masses".) Remember that the Wahhabi Islam sect that’s responsible for al-Qaeda was nurtured by Saudi Arabia’s government. Until the Saudis started funding religion, their government was the only power structure in that nation; after a while, Wahhabi Islam was well-funded and well-entrenched enough to become a second seat of power. Once they had power, they turned their attention to the real source of trouble in their lives — their totalitarian governments.

Fighting those was al-Qaeda’s original reason for being. Then, because the U.S. made deals with these dictatorships in order to secure oil supplies, we became a target.

This means that George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq, even though it was very badly done, was a stroke of tactical genius. Iraq’s previous totalitarian government is toast, and the only one that wants to see the new Iraqi government fail is the Baath party in Syria. (al-Qaeda has moved on to Afghanistan.) Keep in mind that Saddam Hussein’s Baath party controlled two nations, Iraq and Syria, and Syria has not been held accountable yet. Nearly all of the continuing terrorist attacks in Iraq are rooted in Syria.

Unfortunately, it’ll be several years before the wisdom of invading Iraq becomes obvious. Until then, George W. Bush will have to settle for being slandered now and vindicated later, much like Harry S Truman.
