Arrest at G20 Demonstrations, September 24, 2009
An snatch and grab arrest was made on a side street near Baum Ave & S Millvale Ave. during a protest against the Pittsburgh G20 Summit. Word is that the arrests were made by PA State Troopers who were wearing camouflage clothing.
People have been demonstrating to counter the G20, a group of the richest, most powerful people from the richest, most powerful countries who make decisions which impact all of us. The past few times they have met they decided to bail out big banks, including the biggest, baddest bank of them all, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which does nothing to help people. In addition, G20-style globalization policies have harmed the environment and threatened democracy everywhere.

You know, I used to try and argue with people who thought like this was staged. But now I realize that some people think EVERYONE is a conspiracy. The cop getting attacked at the RNC was a conspiracy. Anderson Cooper helping the Haitian kid was a conspiracy. 9/11 was a conspiracy. Nothing is real and everything is staged by the government. These were atached to a tactical team for the G20.
For normal patrol they do not wear camo. Many police did for G20 duty, because they are more efficient and comfortable for that kind of duty.
I worked the G20 and know who they were.

1. Around :20 you can see into the car, there is no cage. Also note that the arestee isnt handcuffed, isn’t wearing a bandana, and isnt puting up much of a fight.
2.The picture of the “mariens” with no sign of rank does seem odd, but I know for a fact that cops like to strut camo getups in Grand Junction from time to time. I have a hard time beleiving that the military isues different uniforms to their soldiers.

3 In the second extended video (not showed in full here) of the kid with the red bandana and t-shirt never calls out his name.This is protesting 101 stuff for arestables.
4. This wasnt the only atemt of an infultration of protester circles. Theres another vido you can find of three very bulky, okward looking “protesters” keeping close to eachother. After about 15 minutes they are obviouse to everyone around them that they are cops.
