Law 271: Environmental Law and Policy – Lecture 1
What is Environmental Law? Insights from Ecology and Economics
Instructor Holly Doremus. This introductory course is designed to explore fundamental legal and policy issues in environmental law. Through examination of environmental common law and key federal environmental statutes, including the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act, it exposes students to the major challenges to environmental law and the principal approaches to meeting those challenges, including litigation, command and control regulation, technology forcing, market incentives, and information disclosure requirements. With the addition of cross-cutting topics such as risk assessment and environmental federalism, it also gives students a grounding in how choices about regulatory standards and levels of regulatory authority are made.

Not bad – but it …
Not bad – but it seems more like a “Save the Earth” lecture than a lecture about law in a top-ranked law school. How much was law actually discussed? Not that much.

The style of teaching is really professional by delivery skills and voice. If she teach this lesson in Vietnam, I think that, the students will not have many time to write all things, only note some main words. Oh, please view the part of climate change, very good!
Thank the author a lot! And thank Ms Holly Doremus!

We need to go back …
We need to go back in time. For say, we need to build old fashion homes with just candle lighting the home. We might be surprise who is willing to live in those meanings especially if the homes are sale at a very low price. In addition, we need pass laws one walking distance city up to 3 miles that these cities are not to be allow to use transportation because they are walking distance cities.
